Community Inventory: End of the Year

CONTENT | Discussion + Practice

Have one person read the blurb below:

Tonight is our last House Church until after the break! We’ve been doing this thing together week-after-week for ______________. That’s a big accomplishment! House Church is a spiritual discipline. It is something we commit to and do over-and-over again, not because it is always amazing but because it is a way to make ourselves available to God to do what He wants to do in our lives! He is always doing something good in us. The people of God and their gathering together is a main way He does His work. (If you’ve never read Acts 2:42-47, take a look for evidence of this truth.) Tonight, we want to reflect on what we’ve seen Him do then take some time to encourage one another.

Turn on some quiet worship music and have one person pray for the night before beginning the discussion.

Discuss:

What has this House Church meant to you over this last year? Who or what are you grateful for? Where has God met you through this Community?

Have you noticed the discipline of regularly attending this House Church change you as a person or as a disciple in any way? How so?

Take some time to go around and encourage each person present. Have 2-3 people share a brief encouragement.

End the night with 1-2 songs of worship.

Reminder: The last Sunday of each month is our Selah Sunday, where we pause from our Church-wide Sunday Gathering. :)
